Head Spa is recommended for everyone to relax and maintain a healthy scalp and hair, but especially for those who suffer from problems such as hair loss and dandruff.

What are the benefits of Head Spa?

Head Spa at AURORA GLOW STUDIO is a luxurious treatment that not only relaxes through massage, but also cleanses the scalp of dirt and grime that cannot be washed out with daily shampoos, making the scalp and hair healthier at the same time.
Head massage and scalp cleansing improves blood circulation and can have a positive effect on future hair growth, making it thicker and stronger. It also tightens the pores after cleansing, which helps the roots to stand up tighter and adds volume to the hair!

Can I have the treatment while pregnant?

You will lie down throughout your Head Spa treatment. We will make you super comfy with a knee pillow, but we cannot raise your head or the bed (due to the sink position). We also use Essential Oils during the treatment, so we always advise checking in with your Doctor or Midwife before booking.

Should I wash my hair before I come for a Head Spa?

No, it’s not necessary, as we will go through a full scalp and hair cleanse process

Can I have the treatment while I have hair extensions?

No, but it’s a great treatment to have between fittings.

Can I have the treatment if I have little/no hair?

Absolutely! We will tailor the session to suit your hair type. We are always looking for ways to improve our services, so if you have any suggestions, please email us.

Will I leave with wet hair?

While we recommend not heat styling your hair following the session (allowing all of our lovely products to penetrate), we appreciate you don’t want to leave with wet hair! We offer a thorough towel dry and will clip your hair up after the treatment. We will dry your hair, we are happy to do so at the end of the session. We recommend NOT booking a treatment right before a big event, as your hair and scalp will be more nourished than usual, so a style may not hold as well.

How old do I need to be?

Under 18? We are happy to treat over-12s as a standard booking as long as a parent or guardian is ALSO BOOKED for the treatment (as a couple or group booking). Please bear in mind that the standard session is 60/90 minutes long, and we don’t allow anyone else in the spa during treatments unless they are also booked for a session simultaneously. If you’re interested in shorter treatments for smaller ones or Mini Me parties, please let us know when you contact us and we will sorted out the booking for both of you at the same day. If you're interested in Mini Me package the parents/adults have to sign a treatment form before booking.

Can I bring a friend?

Sorry, but we currently only have room for one at a time. However, you can book one after the other.
Only your Mini me package family member can come, if already booked and signed the Intake Form by a parent/adult.

Are your products suitable for keratin treated hair?

Yes, ALL of my products are sulphate-free and are compatable with all of my hair straightening treatments.

Are your products suitable for colour treated hair?

Yes, all our products have been carefully selected and are colour safe.
